Relocating to Lodi, a local's guide to your new home town
A smooth landing in Lodi. I'll help you find the neighborhood that fits your life before you commit.
Relocating to Lodi, what you get
New job, family nearby, or just ready for a slower pace? Relocating to Lodi puts you in wine country, with Lodi Lake, a historic downtown and big-town conveniences all within reach.
The tricky part is choosing a neighborhood from far away. What you get with me is a lifelong local's view of each part of town, video tours of any home you like, and a purchase timed around your move-in date, so you arrive to keys instead of a hotel.
Why people moving to Lodi call me
I'm Audrey Schmierer, a REALTOR® with Keller Williams Central Valley, and I've lived in Lodi my whole life. I can tell you which streets are near the lake, which parts of town have bigger lots, and where the new construction is.
When you can't be here, I'll be your eyes. I tour homes for you on video, room by room, and show you the street and the block too. You'll get daily updates by phone, text or email, wherever you are.
Once you're settled, I can introduce you to local trades people, the same kind of help Jennifer K. mentioned in her review. More on how I help people relocate.
How relocating to Lodi works
Start with your date. Tell me when you need to be here, and we plan backward from it.
Get your numbers. Pre-approval with a lender I trust, set up before you arrive.
Narrow the map. We talk through your commute, your weekends and your wish list, then focus on the neighborhoods that fit.
Tour from anywhere. Video tours of the homes you like, and in-person showings when you visit.
Offer and escrow. We write a strong offer from recent Lodi sales. Escrow typically runs 30 to 45 days, so we'll line it up with your move. The details are on my buying process page.
